Frank G. Lindsey Classes Create Pinwheels for Peace

Last week, students in Sandra Feirman's Frank G. Lindsey art classes created pinwheels to celebrate the International Day of Peace on September 21, 2024. Students proudly displayed these Pinwheels for Peace, some of which were used to decorate a hallway bulletin board.

The project isn't unique to Hen Hud; it was started in 2005 by two Florida art teachers, Ann Ayers and Ellen McMillan, and provides students an opportunity to express themselves about what's happening in the world. Students from countries all over the world participate in the project and millions of pinwheels are created every year.
